A timeless culture in a land full of hope and optimism is ready to be discovered. Here you will taste objects you never considered edible. You will be stared at and pointed at and endlessly interrogated about your age and income. You will come to grips with the sights, sounds and smells of a different place. You will learn about overcrowding and life in an economy of scarcity. And you will realize that people on the opposite side of the world are just the same as you . . . wanting to be understood and needing to be loved.

Usually there is at least one person on the administrative staff in each school that can speak English – the challenge is in understanding each other’s expectations, thoughts, and desires.
